General Rules

  • It is not advisable for students to bring money or other valuable articles like electronic devices, jewellery etc. to school.
  • Any kind of damage to school property or spoiling the school premises/buildings will be made good at the cost of the responsible students.
  • No newspaper, periodicals or any other literature may be brought into the school premises without the Principal's approval.
  • Collection for any purpose is not to be made without the previous sanction of the Principal. This also applies to the parents and the students.
  • For any breach of the school rules, students may be fined. Necessary action will be taken at the direction of the Principal. Any student who is persistently insubordinate, repeatedly or wilfully mischievous, or guilty of malpractices in connection with examinations or unauthorised alteration in reports of certificates, or who in the opinion of the Principal has an unwholesome influence on his/her fellow pupil, may be temporarily or permanently removed according to the gravity of the offence.
  • When school is in session, parents are not allowed to visit class or teachers without permission of the Principal/Headmistress.
  • Parents or guardians are earnestly requested to enforce regularity and discipline at home. They should ensure that their children devote adequate study hours. They must sign the monthly report and all the remarks in the diary. The monthly report should be returned the following day, duly signed by the parents/guardian.
  • Every student must possess a copy of the school diary, which is to be brought to school on all working days.
  • Parents/guardians should inform in writing to the Principal about any change of address or telephone number.
  • Parents should not give pocket money for outings/picnics without confirming the same with the Principal/H.M. If not, the school authorities will not be responsible for any kind of untoward incidents.
  • Strict regularity and implicit obedience is to be executed in the class. Smoking, alcohol, pan masala, tobacco etc. is strictly prohibited and liable for dismissal.
  • Any report of objectionable conduct outside the institution is punishable.
  • Parents must understand that they cannot dictate terms. The Principal has the right to determine under what conditions a student will be admitted or retained in this institution.
  • Politeness, courtesy of speech and conduct as well as cleanliness of dress and person are insisted upon.
  • No child suffering from a contagious or infectious disease shall be permitted to attend class.
  • Running, playing, shouting inside the school building is not allowed. Students should not remain in school after school hours.
  • Regularity and punctuality should become a habit with each pupil.
  • At the stroke of the school bell, all students should attend the assembly, after which all must disperse immediately, class-wise, to their respective classes.
  • During the absence of the teacher, the class monitor is responsible for order and discipline in the class.
  • The Principal has the right to refuse the continuation of studies to any pupil in the school whose conduct or influence is not satisfactory.
  • Mobile phones or personal music systems are not permitted on the school campus.
  • English will be the medium of instruction and conversation.
